After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Arianna and Trevor met at a Fall Internship at World Relief Triad. The organization met all of our values in a way that dating apps simply could not.

The mission, very simple, and Christian based, is the resettlement of refugees, immigrants, and survivors of human-trafficking. It was October 2019, Trevor was in the Client Services department -- This looks like communicating with our clients, from all parts of life, on housing in their new home - in their new country!

Arianna was in Non-Profit Operations and Management and it was very different and separate from Trevor's department. His on the first floor and client facing, Arianna is on the second floor, making sure the wheels turn on the back-end.

One Day, Arianna walks downstairs to grab coffee and stretch her legs. It is a couple days after Arianna's birthday.

Trevor sees her and tells Arianna,

"Happy Birthday!" Arianna does not know Trevor well and wonders how exactly he knows.

Trevor quickly realizes that there needs to be context here and says, "Oh! Sorry, one of my friends on Instagram had a HBD story post for you; I assure you this it not weird!"

Arianna laughs. Social media handles are exchanged, and one thing after another... You might pick up how the story goes!
